Basically, I am a sucker for good pop music and have a tendency to write in a style that is akin in spirit to the traditional standards of bygone times, which, as I see it, may still be relevant to our so called modern times. Anyway, most living now will eventually come face to face that, in the future, even that which is presently considered to be contemporary will undoubtedly be looked upon as 'old school', or whatever it is being called these days. In other words, I doubt I am going to change my style to conform to a particular trend or fashion of the time. It's not that I am trying to be, well, out of date, out of sync, or whatever else you might want to call it. I do strive, to the best of my ability, to be in tune with what's going on nowadays...but that does not mean I will actually go out of my way to embrace anything other than that which appeals to my way of thinking, and the kind of 'feelings (towards humanity)' I consider important to express as much as possible.
